I have met many females who choose to live according to Sharia guidelines. Many of them speak of it as an emboldening and liberating choice You are entering the realm of sophistry and have come full circle. Need to take a course in logic. When your arguments end up with oppression=liberation, you know something has gone wrong in the good old reasoning process.

Being killed for being an apostate in islam in and of itself gives islam its "cult" status. When people are killed for not believing a certain way, it loses its claim as a religion in my book.
