Nothing But UPS

Once again all of the important averages were up. Nothing as high as one percent, but the readings were decisive enough. This included the four Major Averages, of course. They all moved to the highest levels of the year and the highest level within the ascending channel. And the Dow moved to a still higher all-time high.
All four of the Major averages remain about mid-channel, which means that an "overbought" condition is not likely to be imminent.
Breadth readings were positive in all groupings across the board. There was another super-high reading in the Leadership Index (923-346). HalfPoint+ Movers also had an excellent reading (664-104), though not as high as yesterday. Twenty-seven Major Industrial Sectors advanced versus eight decliners, 191 Industry groups rose against 47 losers, 64 Nasdaq-100 stocks rose, 17 Dow stocks, 307 SP-500 stocks and 2038 Russell-3000 stocks were winners.
So with everything positioned snuggly into smoothly ascending channels, and with nothing but UPs in the Trend Table (not hiccups), and with me a half-hour ahead of my deadline, I think I'll bid you a Good Evening.
