I think you know the lone nut theory doesn't compute, especially four times in a row. And all the silencing of witnesses, disappearing evidence, etc. It starts becoming mathematically impossible to have that many coincidences, just to preserve a lone nut theory with nuts who have no clear motive or expertise for killing anyone. The issue is not really the killshot, though that's highly suspicious, the magic bullet and all, it's the massive coverup. It smacks of a CIA coup d'etat operation. Remember, in those the days the CIA was active experts in assassinating presidents. They had the South Vietnamese president knocked off, and others. So why would you doubt for a second that they might do it domestically? One thing we know about the far right knuckle draggers, when they're true believers, their credo is "the end justifies the means". And they hated the Kennedys and ML King, as did their close friend J. Edgar Hoover and their sometimes partners the mob.
