BRKR has had 3Qs of better revenues & 4Qs of triple digits improvement on earnings.<g>

It made yesterday a 4 Yrs. H in spite of its high PE

bigcharts.marketwatch.com

It trades around 4xBV between the insiders & institutions they reportedly hold more than 50% (Yahoo puts the float at 43M & IBD at 27M) It has +CF & +FCF The short position is around 5.6x the average trading volume (Yahoo puts the SR at 4.1)

In July it acquired Bruker Optics & the pending 4thQ results probably will be bettre than in 2005

Its LTC is "interesting", however it doesn't seem that it should go much higher than the 10 to 12 level.<g>

CMT has had 4Qs of better revenues & earnings (the last Q with a 100% improvement of earnings)

It hasn't closed its Nov.6 upgap & still needs to close above its Dec.2005 H of 9.40 before it can retest its Jun.2005 at 13 <g>

bigcharts.marketwatch.com

It sells around 2.7xBV, PE is around 11 & has +CF

It seems prudent to wait & see if it will dip & try to find support around 7.65 to 7.85 (It doesn't seem likely that il will go down to close the Nov.8 upgap, but I haven't checked that with Ken.<g>)

Bernard, on the not too often occasion that I go for a quick trade or scalp as you call it, I like to use the 10 day MA. BITS was riding the 10 day, with the gap fill just below for insurance should the trade not work out right away. So, the 10 day didn't hold and the gap filled. Let's see how it goes.

RFIL is another interesting gap fill play with earnings coming up.
