You can say I need to read your entire post, but in point of fact you aren't addressing what you said, nor what I said about it. But let's go a little further. You've just indicated that you want the U.S. to "wise up and save the world including Isreal" by being considered more of a "power broker" again.

As a Libertarian who is pro-Iraq since I feel it does serve to protect America, and pro-stopping Iranian leaders from fulfilling their goals of destruction, I never-the-less don't take well to any general concept of the U.S. as a world policeman and meddling power broker. Perhaps you can delve deeper into how you envision that playing out, saving the world in the process. In other words, perhaps you can just tell me whether you are willing for the U.S. to take action in Iran, and if so, do current circumstances as you perceive them preclude you from recommending we do so?

Must we sit back and watch, in your mind, because you feel we aren't the power broker we used to be?

I feel that Lindy Bill has a fine thread and fine contributors, and I respect the guy. I can't say that I've read anything there in ages (probably should indeed), and wouldn't know his opinions (he always seemed to be one to post articles from various points of view, not so much one to make clear his own point of view. But that's just an old observation of mine which is probably not at all born out at this point, for all I know.).
