Foresight is apparently not very common, regardless of the generation.

It depends on what is being forecast. We have often a week or more to watch a depression come out of Africa, form into a circular pattern, and be propelled toward the US east coast. People make what preparations they can long before the monster arrives. Injury and death is minimized.

The issue is not foresight concerning the formation of the whirlwind of hatred against America by dedicated Islamo-Fascists, it is denial. Death and injury can only be minimized by vigilance and judicious preemption.

Don...the same type horrors are going on right now in the Sudan and the Congo.

Have you written your Congressman demanding action on that stuff?

Did you march in the street when 3 million people were being killed by the Kmer Rouge in Cambodia?

When they were commiting genocide in Rwanda did you make a big noise about it?

What Hitler did was only extraordinary because of its scope and cold blooded efficiency.
