Here is my way of analyzing a job change.

1) do you like what you are doing?
If you do not like what you are doing, do you have the skills to do something else, or is someone else willing to train you?
2) do you like who you work with?
3) do you like who you report to?
4) are you happy with what you are being paid?

Obviously if all of those are negative it's time to go regardless of any other considerations (provided you have the skills to go and/or someone is willing to give you a shot at doing something else). Otherwise you need to weigh those and see how they stack up for you personally. Sometimes one of them is so bad that you want to leave even if you are happy about the other 3. Only you can answer that, but happiness matters a lot (at least it should). Bear in mind no matter how happy or unhappy one might be, things can always be better or worse somewhere else. So #1, #2, #3 always involve a risk of change.

5) What are your family obligations? To a single person this question might (or might not be meaningful), but for someone with kids in school it is certainly a non-trivial consideration.

Headed into a recession the following items take on more importance. Also the higher up the management chain one is, the harder it will be to extradite yourself from a bad move.

5) How stable is your current job?
6) How stable will the new one be?
7) If the new job makes you miserable because of #1, #2,or #3 will you have any options?
8) How stable is your field? I would GUESS that healthcare is far more stable than other things right now. I would also GUESS that the bigger the company you are at the more stable those positions would be. So... how big a company would you be going to vs. how big a company you came from.
9) Consolidations. Again I know little about consolidations in healthcare. Also healthcare is a broad field so it might vary from field to field. If there is a consolidation of some sort, how likely is it that your position would be lost.

Those are the kinds of questions only you can answer but hopefully this gives you some way making a rational decision based on your weightings of those answers.
