Al, so let me get this right:

You seem to have no interest in getting anything right on this. You are only interested in criticizing anything and everythig you perceieve as a liberal agenda, despite its merits.

Let's summarize. Global warming is a serious world problem. Millions of people will be affected by it. Science recognizes this pretty much universally, save for a few special interst dissenters. Clinton/Gore spent years participating in work that led to an international standard.

The right takes over and immediately scuttles all that and offers exactly nothing as an alternative, despite bush promising one.

You seem to subscribe to the school of doing nothing and hoping for the best. Worst than that, as you promote that sweet inaction, you marginalize those who would take action, and dismiss their concern as "leftist alarmism".

How shitty is that?

Al

You think global warming is worthy of alarm, but you don't like it being trivialized as "liberal alarmism."

Hey, its not "liberal alarmism". Just because one of its spokepersons is a liberal doesn't mean that only liberals are concerned. In fact, most scientists behing the theory are conservative. However, GOPers love marginalizing the argument by accusing the liberals of being the true sponsors of the theory. And we all have learned by now that GOPers love cutting off their noses to spite their faces. Again, the fatalists should not be leading this discussion.
