>>>They have launched a third and fourth

So you are saying XM has 4 satellites doing the same job as SIRIUS' 3 satellites and XM is still losing market share? Thanks, I did not realize that.

Spin it how you like, but Sirius has to have twice as many satellites to do the same job as XM's.

??????

I think Mr. Ray needs some accounting help here .. Here are his own statements..

While XM does have four satellites in orbit, they only require two to provide complete service. They have four only because two failed prematurely

OK.. So two failed, (because of poor engineering choices on XM's part). OK.. Got it..

He continues..
So, while it is true that XM has four satellites at the moment, they don't NEED four to do the job and they haven't paid for four. They currently have one operating at full power and two operating at half power (which will extend their lives);

Now, they are not "failed prematurely", but are operating at "Half-power" according to Mr. Ray.. Hmmm.. Maybe he can make up his mind here.. As a matter of fact.. XM states they plan to use Mr. Rays "failed prematurely" satellites as "in-orbit spares".. LOL!! Are they "failed Prematurely", Operating at Half Power, or In-Orbit Spares.

So XM now has 4 in orbit and SIRI only has 3 in orbit. But claims that SIRIUS has to have twice as many satellies to do the same job as XM?? LOL!! Is that with or without the 400% MORE TERRESTRIAL REPEATERS that XM has versus SIRI??

So does that mean that SIRI needs 8 satellites so they have twice as many as XM currently has?

To give you an example of how Mr. Ray is LOOSE with his FACTS.. The expected life of SIRI's satellites is 15 years from service start. Service stated in 2002 which is only 4 years.. But, Mr. Ray claimed that the satellite life was "half used up"..

This was more of Mr. Ray's OPINIONS that he presents as FACTS.

Just because Mr. Ray CLAIMS SOMETHING IS A FACT.. DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT IS ACTUALLY A FACT.

And so it goes,
