Actually Pelosi stuck with her friend who now gets to oversee defense spending and do investigations into Republican corruption. If it wasn't for his courageous stance on the Republican incompetence that is the disintegration of Iraq, Murtha wouldn't even have been in the running. It's called politics, it's called a big tent.
