Very admirable, but you've probably only reduced your total energy consumption by maybe 25%.

We could all afford to conserve, but unfortunately, that's not going to solve the problem of America consuming more than its fair share of oil. Remember, most people in Asia, for instance, don't even own a home or a car. They live in apartments, take buses and trains to work, and walk or bike for the most part.

Meanwhile, guys like Johnny Depp own multiple homes with tens of thousands of square feet, then complain that Americans consume too much of the world's energy. That's rich (pun intended) ...
