Using the phrase "change the course" is effective for winning elections when the current course is unpopular. It isn't a solution.

Democrats are split on everything. However, the country has given them only a 2-year probation in Congress. With that and Senator Lieberman, maybe they can work with Republicans to develop a winning strategy. "Change the course" is what the voters told their political leaders. It isn't a solution. It is a directive. Now its up to the politicians to develop a strategy to implement that directive.
