Thor was wild, alright. He was a short little guy, but tougher than nails. Worked summers on trail crews or cooking for pack strings delivering goods to lookouts and so forth.

I don't know all the stories, and the ones I know are not too nice for this thread.

Suffice it to say that he HATED BEARS with a capital HATE. He hated them because they frequently ransacked his camp. Of course it was not really his fault. He had to keep that bacon somewhere, didn't he?

The stories I've heard concern various ways he took revenge on the bears that raided his camps.

One time I bunked with Thor in the new bunkhouse, which had two men to a room. He snored really, really bad.
