Steve, > so much for your racist college entrance quotas....

If a black or Hispanic student got 2400 on his or her SATs, it's almost an automatic acceptance to any Ivy League university, especially if he or she comes from a poor or middle class background.

In contrast, we Asians are the "privileged race." So "privileged" that every store owner in Koreatown is armed, wondering when the next Rodney King will happen.

He came to the U.S. at the age of four, so we can assume he speaks English as a second language.

Why? At age 4, I spoke two languages.......one of which I only remember fragments. And I don't speak with a foreign accent that would mark me as ESL. How much you want to bet this dude doesn't speak with a foreign accent?

He did not inherit centuries of white privilege. And he resembles many other very hard-working, very successful Asian-American students.

How does the author know he is hard working? Did the author find out why he was rejected at certain universities? Nah.....he assumed [assumed = makes an ass out of you and me] it was because of racial issues. Surprise, surprise........SAT scores is just one of the things colleges look at when determining whether to admit someone. And in fact, they are becoming less relevant.

So then, what were his grades like? Did he participate in extracurricular activities as a hi school kid? Did he play sports? How well rounded is he? How does he come off in interviews? These are just some of items that come into play when kids are admitted into schools. And the best schools get many more very qualified applicants than open spaces!

Dang! This GOP shit is easy!
