Ted, > Conservation works.......and can have a significant impact. Since I posted, I rethought my perspectives, and I decided that conservation is like voting. I spend a few hours studying the candidates and the propositions but for what? My vote doesn't count any more than, say, some ignorant retiree who's told to vote a certain way or else his or her benefits will disappear. But it doesn't matter. I vote because it's my civic duty. I vote because I want to be a good citizen, to live as a good example for those around me. And that's why I should also be a good environmental citizen as well. It doesn't take much effort, but the positive attitudes go a long way. Tenchusatsu
