The "big tent" of the Republicans, well, isn't. The Democrats have a bigger tent. One that can deal with stem cell research, gays, birth control choices and giving the families authority on end of life issues, things the Republicans can't seem to grant. Not to mention the whole K Street Project thing that the Republicans hitched their boat to... It takes a true moron to believe that all Democrats are a particular type of liberal. That is the lie the right wingers have been promoting for years. Just like the lie that all Republicans are a particular type of conservative. The polarization is what bit the Republicans in the ass this election cycle. It can only be pushed so far, and they overextended themselves. Welcome to the real world of marginalization.
