Do they get the flu? Based on symptoms, yes.

One site on flu vaccinations for children indicate that a child getting the flu vaccine for the first time will often be "fluish",their term, for 3 to 4 days.


Children and the elderly are most at risk at dying when it comes to the flu. Therefore, with children, getting "fluish" is considered a reasonable alternative to dying.
