That is absurd and the fact that the colleges can't see that tells me they are so out of touch with reality that there is little hope for them. Positively unreal! I have three very bright grandchildren in California who are half Japanese ethnically, and have a Japanese last name. Sent my daughter a copy of that. If the UC's REALLY quit discriminating, the blacks and Chicanos percentage in those schools would fall to nearly zero, and they would be replaced by Asians. The grade inflation that is going on is forcing the colleges to go more by test scores. It's a major, major, problem.
