I guess you could sell some calls as a hedge. But imo holders who are concerned with the downside should sell some of their shares until they are more comfortable with their position. It is a speculative position and I don't think there is a way to make it non-speculative.

Bill What about Central Utah that Delta has on page 10 of internal presentation document "Billion Barrel Potential? What about Paradox and well blow out? Both of these are world class projects. The Joseph at Central Utah is at 2100 Feet and TD is 5860 feet. We are about 12 days from TD. Per DELTA CEO the target is 300 to 500 million barrels of oil. They have 21 other Central Utah elephant targets of similar size. Encana is on their third well in CRB at $ 10 - $ 20 million a pop for fun? Why would they keep going. Delta CEO said it is successful already. You don't believe him? How about the scout reports of the completion? If Joseph is a duster and Encana has yet to report the stock will go down to $ 20 or so temporarily until Encana reports or they drill one of the other 21 elephants. I'm in for the long term and this event does not worry one iota. I will make $$$ over the long term. For one I already know that CRB is a huge success. Bases are loaded with CRB, Central Utah and Paradox. Any one of these will make Delta a home run. That is my hedge.
