Steve, a follow-up to the L.A. firefighter who claimed racial harassment: latimes.com City hazing settlement is vetoed Mayor rejects council's OK of $2.7 million for a black firefighter who said he was harassed, citing photos showing the man hazing others. One of those photos is there on the link. Kudos to Senor Villaragosa for vetoing this stupid settlement. Of course, now he just made more political enemies. (And the black vs. Hispanic fights breaking out in high schools all over the place aren't going to go away ...) Tenchusatsu
