Since "global warming" is getting such a big play, wonder exactly why the proponents of it, like AlGore, have never said one thing about the Life cycle of our Sun, and for that matter, every Star in the Universe?

Earth's climate has always been fluctuating naturally and always will. The current global warming whoop-de-do has political implications exceeding those of objective scientific study.

It is a fact that average temperatures have gone up slightly as of late and that CO2 levels in the atmosphere have increased due to human caused carbon fuel usage. It's silly to deny this.

However, it's much sillier to adopt the "stop the world, I want to get off" attitude that permeates the greenie crowd, the kind that gets all the play in the MSM. What they propose ain't doable, period.

Makes one really question the true motives of those leaders of the econuts. Destroy western civilization? Severely cripple the United States? That's what would happen if their proposals were taken seriously and implemented.

If that English guy (Branson his name, Virgin Atlantic CEO?) wants to donate billions towards global warming, then research and deployment of carbon capture and sequestration, as I mentioned in that letter, is a realistic way to go. It would be nice if all the chattering Unions of "Concerned" Scientists would direct their attention in that direction as well...

BTW, here's a link to the subject of sequestration. Why isn't something being done along these lines???
