It is going to take a massive amount of rewriting of history to make Bush look good after what we've seen so far in Iraq. I don't even know if it is at all feasible.

Actually, "stay the course" is EXACTLY what Abezaid was arguing for in the recent Senate hearings. No MORE troops, not LESS troops, the SAME number of troops with more time.
