I'm glad you took the time to read it. I watched the video and didn't really "get" any North Vietnamese -communist talking points. For me, it was an impassioned speech about the horrors of war and the lack of actual justification for this particular war. I have been told that Ho Chi Min had been a huge supporter of America and the Constitution, but felt betrayed by the fact Vietnam was turned over to the French after WWII. I remember the "domino theory" - that if Vietnam fell into communism, the entire area would follow suit. Well, Vietnam fell and communism failed anyway. The US had agreements NOT to invade Laos and Cambodia - we did anyway. Would Pol Pot have come to power in 75 if choas hadn't reigned in Cambodia after US bombing? Probably not.
