it went nowhere in the Republican-led Congress.

With the vote 402-2 against Rangel's draft bill, though I only managed a B in logic(had issues with the professor), my wild eyed guess would be that it didn't do to well with the dems either.

Not sure why who controlled congress would be in play on that particular vote and needed to be mentioned in the story...journalism folks are "special".

There isn't going to be a draft (barring another major attack on US soil). I welcome Democrat attempts to reinstate it though.
