You're ashamed? My policy was being crafted by an Okie who thinks MIchael Creighton is the go-to science guy.

Inhofe: Don’t Worry About Global Warming Because ‘God’s Still Up There’
In an interview with Fox and Friends this morning, outgoing Chairman of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works James Inhofe (R-OK) argued that the current wave of unprecedented warming is due to “natural changes.” “God’s still up there,” Inhofe said, and to the extent there is warming going on, it is “due to the sun.” He added, “George Soros, the Hollywood elitists, the far left environmentalists on the committee that I chair — all of them want us to believe the science is settled and it’s not.” Watch it.

Since the inception of the Kyoto agreement, until the election in 2006, the Liberal Government of Canada did nothing. Absolutely nothing. Most members of the Liberal Party of Canada talked the talk, and then went on bribing their friends with fat contracts. 10 months after the election the environment minister has to talk about Canada's progress on meeting the obligations the Liberals made. a deal made, over the objections of the now governing party. The Liberals had years of huge surpluses, and majority governments for almost it's entire 13 years to implement the controls needed. They did not. Surely to walk in and say anything other than, our Former government screwed up big time, and we have only a minority mandate, but will do what we can, was the honest thing to say. It may be embarrassing, but truth often is an embarrassment.
Where was Mz Mallick and her embarrassment, all the time the Liberals were not implementing Kyoto? Where were the Canadians who believe in Kyoto, and yet did not make their voices heard? Everything she says is correct, and yet, why is she only embarrassed now? Or like much of Canadian media is Mz mallick wringing her hands in fury that the conservatives went out in public and actually told the truth. That Canada's Liberal Government, signed Kyoto when it had no intention of fulfilling the agreement, and while they had complete control of the finances did nothing towards reducing emissions, and our media allowed them to do it. And frankly that is embarrassing
