I am convinced that the new ILCOR standards will soon open up the market for emergency I-O devices which should enjoy rapid growth in sales from here on in. Pyng faces serious competition from the EZ-IO. But sternal insertion still gives the FAST1 an advantage in getting fluids rapidly to the heart. I was hoping that management would follow up the Nov. 6 sales announcement with another announcement of record-setting sales this month. But so far we have had no announcement.
