Interesting prediction from Eric Coffin. Personally I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Zn go higher than Cu in the medium term. In the longer term that won't happen because there's lots more mineable Zn than Cu (I think?), but I've felt for some time that Zn is the more explosive from a supply-demand perspective. The difference is that China went from being a net Zn exporter a couple of years ago to now being a net importer, so "at the margin" there's been a massive shift. Also, from the demand side, there are fewer substitutes for Zn than there are for Cu. It could take several years for the Zn supply side to catch up.

That's why I'm still accumulating PAX, MMG, etc. <g>
