There was no housing bubble in the Pacific Northwest and western Canada...things are just merrying along - seasonality up/down yes and only very small price rollback.

My mortgage rate book starts at 6%. Gosh, the young generation has not seen the high rate like us the old timers had (16%+ in late 1970's).

The wkend newpaper said the smartest guy in B.C. (Jimmy Patterson) is buying up Canfor - he's betting on the recovery of the housing mkt.
