It's my technique for pointing out the fact that the republicans have no current viable plan for establishing a successful state in Iraq.

Why do you keep asking a question with such an obvious answer? Bush's plan to date for "winning" in Iraq has been install a democractically elected Iraqi government based on an Iraqi-created constitution, and to build up the Iraqi military and police force to the point where it can take over the stabilization and defense role currently played by coalition forces. This is hardly top secret - have you ignored every Bush press conference on the subject? That, as you've asked a gazillion times, is the Republican plan for success in Iraq.

My personal opinion is that they had a plan, and that plan failed miserably. The plan as I see it was to create Iraq as a client state of the US and a US free trader's dream state.

Whether true or not, that is a desciption of a goal, not a plan for achieving the goal. That's your definition of what it means for the US to "win" in Iraq, but it aint a plan or strategic approach for achieving the goal. So you couldn't articulate the Republican plan for winning in Iraq yourself.

Iraqis have apparently chosen to make war with each other rather than build a stable civil tolerant society. I would say the primary cause of that stupid collective decision on their part is the intolerance of Iraqi society.
