Oh I don't know about that (2 mil sold). I could never understand a MM's fascination with Maxam. It would be so much more profitable to short the blue chips (and easier). I did that in the late 90s and very early 2k's After 9/11 the Army kept me quite busy. Now as a teacher, I'm getting to learn a whole 'nother world.
I really thought the EPRI project would generate enough capital to allow Maxam to extract Gold from the dirt. But I'm not so sure Dick has the energy for Epri.
It is sad though; Maxam has the mineral rights, the gold IS there (and always has been) the necessary catalyst has always been money. DO you remember when Maxam Leased that multi-thousand foot office in Phoenix? Dad was always a dreamer! Well, right now the Mxam stock might buy a Sony Playstation. Someday, maybe it will buy a stock holders chair in Sony. maybe.............

siwash,
I believe the same as you, the gold is there but Dick has nothing to say about what is tested , that is what Xcentia is doing and they believe they can make the process work on the flyash . I have tried to get them to run some test on the gold and so far they refuse to do that . The problem is the deal that Mxam has with Xcentia, they have all the say on what is done. I believe Mxam should have had a clause that said Xcentia had to inform Mxam on what was going on but they don't . It seems we got the dirty end of the stick with Xcentia
