What you ask of me you fail to provide yourself.

Why the double standard?

The democrats have not even been sworn in yet. Yet you righty polemics criticize dems that they can't verbalize the dem plan. At the same time you righty polemics cannot even come close to verbalizing what the republican plan is or has been.

That is the definition of double standard.

If you are so anxious to criticise someone, why don't you aim equal criticism at the righty polemics who also absolutely fail to present what the republican plan is?

I'll tell you why. Because the question is a ruse designed to deflect attention away from the fact that the republican plan, whatever it has been up to this point, has miserably failed, and the republicans don't have a clear plan at this point as to what they think we should do going forward either.

"It's remarkable that that when finally given the chance you don't know what the hell to say."

There are a number of things to be said in response to this. First is, there will be no shortage of viable ideas from the left. Ideas of how to salvage something worthwhile in terms of our foreign policy, not just exit.
Second, if you are asking for personal opinion, there has been a total shortage of ideas coming from the right also, at least as far as what I have seen. So on SI the left and the right are equal, neither having presented any ideas as to what to do.
Third is I have faith in the process of our country to deal with this crisis, especially now that half of the intelligence that can be brought to bear on the problem is not being shut out of the process.

So if I am being obtuse you are being disingenuous.
