Pump and Dump? When I tried to place an order through ScotTrade this morning on DYAX, I received a message that says I cannot buy this stock online. I called my local ScotTrade broker and he said that it has recently become a major problem with "pump and dump" schemes and DYAX falls into this category - maybe because of sudden increase in volume? I must say there is one heck of a lot of shares trading today! Also mentioned a problem with spyware programs that record an individuals keystrokes and then ........manipulate the stock. I would appreciate comments on this. steve
