drjohn - You know that they are not necessarily related - depends on how things work out, even how the process is tuned; look at the foundries. And yields certainly =! binsplits.

You'll get your wish. IDF is on April 17-18 in China.

They should have a 3rd stepping of Penryn by then, if needed. Another tweak for production silicon, say, and first shipments in August or so. I'd say 80% chance first rev shipments will be in Q3, 70% chance they'll be by the end of August.
