I don't know why "they" have to lie about this. But apparently there is no such thing in Dell's release.

I don't see any place in the release where Dell pointed to adoption of AMD processors as contributing to anything. They mention AMD processors, just as they mention Xeon processors.

So can you show me where Dell pointed to adoption of AMD as helping it with profits ?

edit. In fact, Dell is citing introduction of new products (the expense of that) as a reason for expecting lower profit in the subsequent quarter.
