Companies do not put negative headlines in their press releases, they put things that auger well for future growth. You are correct that the headline, AMD Now Shipping Across Full Product Line is not there because they are claiming that their good quarter was attributable to using AMD processors.

No, the word NOW within the headline is there because they think that using AMD processors across their entire product line will lead to higher future profits.

In other words:
Dell Reports Preliminary Revenue of $14.4 Billion; Preliminary Earnings Per Share of $0.30

says "We had a great quarter"

and the words:
AMD Now Shipping Across Full Product Line

says AND IT'S GOING TO GET EVEN BETTER!

Get it?
