I also have an hedge to cover my backside on that bit. My overall strategy is on track.

When I say a 'floor price', I mean only while Barrick is interested. They have been NG's biggest benefactor to-date. Rick is looking a gift horse in the mouth. They are inside now and whereas there are rules that now apply to what they do, they can make a big fuss on the inside.

I presume that you have not seen Barrick is action before UP CLOSE. They are very good guys but far too clever. They never over pay for anything. Believe me they intend to get full value for the $1.00 per share they paid for Pioneer (it was $0.40 in June). Grace is the only real asset that Pioneer had.

I also presume that you have not seen Rick in action UP CLOSE. Certainly a role model in emphasising/imagining the positive and ignoring the difficult realities.

You are well ahead if you bought in the spring or before. So you shouldn't one of the ones that has to take a loss.

Good luck on your venture here

I appreciate your post. You have all the correct facts here.
Everyone up here who has been involved with the construction
of this project knows how easily the cash has been spent.
I still feel that something is 'up' tho....Nova Gold
was considering shutting the construction down over the
course of the winter months and re-starting in the Spring.
'Because of the high winter operations costs'.
A week ago they announced that they would not shut down for
the winter and would be spending upwards of 2mil or so to
keep the construction going thru the winter.
This decision was no sooner made when the sudden news
to close down came out on the 26th.
It just seems to me that this decision came from another
source, not one being made solely by Nova Gold.

Looking at their handling of costs to date and then
the decision to keep going forward with this easy spending,
to suddenly being shut down, just seems like there is more
to this story than what has come out so far.
