Another reason for lack of hi-res displays is that 90% of corporate notebooks are used 90% of the time in a docking station with an external monitor. It's silly to pay a lot extra for a high-res display. Petz

re: The problem is the market is shifting pretty strongly to the low end. For the consumer market, the cost is no object crowd is shrinking pretty fast. For the commercial market, that is changing also. Which means AMD has a great opportunity. For one who just accused Sarmad of spinning to reach conclusions, this is rich! You have any link for this, or just conjecture on your part to reach your conclusion? Keep in mind that consumer spending is still pretty high... Smooth
