[ot] When I was 14 I was staying at my sisters farm around T-Day. They had soy bean fields out back that were freshly harvested. Back then I was only allowed 1 box of shells every so often .. As I could scrounge the money to buy them. After the fields were harvested .. when I counted my birdshot shells I only had 13 shells left .. I brought back 13 quail and 1 pheasant .. and her little black dachshund .. should been born a retriever. She went thru thickets like a little weasel. I could have never done it with out her. The celebration dinner was a proud day for me. Pheasant in the middle and quail all around it on the platter. ;) She looked like this one.
