They mostly play with already listed $1-to$5+ stocks over where they can shuffle lots of old yellowed and dogeared SEC paper to make themselves feel good for 10% gains. They also seem to migrate towards Dot.Com techy issues as opposed to hardware and hard work oriented construction issues like a new gas-turbine power or peaking plants. Most of them have probably never seen, much less ever walked through, or help build a powerhouse , substation or powerline. 'Simple Cycle' to most would probably mean an exercise bicycle at Gold's Gym meant for one rider. Whereas 'Combined Cycle' is probably something that they'd expect rent in Central Park involving a girl and a picnic basket.

Kelmer Smith just got the shiny, white hardhat today marked "..El Jefe..", so I would imagine we'll start to see some surveyors out staking, cat skinners moving dirt around, and steel-toed mudmen with concrete trucks rolling in to the jobsite pretty soon.

Go with what you know, aye..... "..And, I love it when a plan comes together.."!!!

John :-)

hey,

hope you had a nice holiday... don't feel too bad about the rejection; i posted this on the micro-cap kitchen when it was just over .20 and got totally ignored. their loss i figured as it went to .80 within days but i was not even slightly tempted to take the short term profit as i feel that this is quite an important company.

trying to pick more as well - the dividend is quite an incentive.

It would appear that most of them are fervent, anti-Pinksheet chart freaks, with one ear glued to that sputtering twit Cramer and the other listening to the revolving-door talking heads on the nightly TV, intended to 'scare-the-Bluehair Gang-out-of-their-BlueChips' Streeter Jive-ists.

A horses and water t-h-a-n-g, aye. Maybe Paul Kangas and the rest of those "..never the same freakin' no-name guy twice.." 'Talking Heads' from some never-heard-of-'em 'Wheezer, Sneezer, Ebeneezer, Cobblepott & Whosit' outfit that the Networks are continually digging up don't like free power company shares as dividends.

My Dad, who was formerly with TVA and understood utilities, would have probably liked the idea. As an EE who understands gas-turbine Peaking Plants, I sure as heck do..!!!

John :-)
