KEN ADAMS - *respect *gratitude *wealth

Believe me, I have total respect and gratitude for what little wealth I possess. Those three words sure work well together.

Great words for me to ponder and indulge in. Thank you for providing them.

Tomorrow my responsibility is to make and bring my Mom's recipe for mashed potato salad. Haven't made it in five years and hope I get it right. Will have about 17 around the dinner table at my son's home and tons of food. My son buys take home trays for everyone as it would take them months to eat leftovers and he loves to cook, so doesn't like to have huge leftovers. He was the pickiest eater in our family and we were all shocked and amazed at his cooking skills. He has a copy of all my Mom's recipes and I think he inherited her touch in making them. Lucky me to have his skills so good and always offer to cook celebration dinners each year. When they purchased their dining table, the most important requisite was to seat at least 16 and it does. Tomorrow one of us will be sitting in a cozy position next to the 17th person. I will also be taking two bottles of my Aunt's Mustang wine which we all enjoy so much. I think it is the last I have so will savor it and bless her for providing a great wine for our table.
