Thank you Pattibob, it is good to be feeling better each day and having an appetite again and being able to taste my food well. I have an appointment on the 30th to go in for a checkup on this last episode and believe that stopping the numerous medications I was taking will be a big benefit for me. I am feeling better than I have for a long time. I hated taking all those pills and at every appointment I would ask to be taken off of them and be told they were necessary to keep me well. Well, they didn't and I am very happy that the doctors attending me made that decision to stop them. My husband was very scared about this, but he was such strength for me also. He has always taken good care of himself, with me watching over him too. Sitting in a hospital room is very fatiguing and I would shoo him home early so he could eat and get to bed early after returning calls to family and friends to keep them aware of what was happening with me. He is happy to have me home feeling so much better and has been so helpful. Doing things he never had to do before and not complaining one bit. My kitties kept looking for me and smothered him with affection and he took good care of them while I was away from home. Secretly he loves them almost as much as I do and he never cared for cats growing up, but that has changed now. They each have their own personality and are great company for me when he is away from home. I agree, Houston's EMS is top notch and I know they save many lives each day. They monitored my condition and got me to the ER in quick time and stayed with me until a Doctor arrived on the scene. I thanked them for their personal and professional care and the EM said it gave them pride to know the people of Houston were well taken care of when in need of their services. Yes, it was a very special Thanksgiving today and my family's love was over abundant. I hope you too enjoyed a wonderful and special Thanksgiving Day and thank you for being a special dear friend. I feel The Gits are filled with wonderful and caring people whom I enjoy spending time and conversing with.
