I don't know. 4 years was long enough for me, but even for me it came hard. Being a lifelong Republican isn't something you throw away easily. I suspect there are many others that find it difficult because they simply can't stomach voting for Democrats to get rid of Bush. I guess it's easier for me, because I came to the conclusion that the single most important issue of our age is getting off the oil. Given that, the Democrats are the more likely group to do something about that for this country. So voting for them became an obvious choice, even though I agree with very little else the Democrats believe in.

But it wasn't just about energy......so many things were wrong. Iraq was already going bad but of course the bushies were in denial about it. Still......any fool could turn on his tv and see the chaos Iraq had fallen into. And I can't believe there are that many harrises and shorties out there..........plus Taro can't vote in this country. Its unbelievable that Americans saddledus with Bush and his lack of presidential abilities for 4 more years.
