So did you get a new disposal or get the other fixed?
Certain things I know I could live without, and a disposal is one, but I wouldn't want to.

What about cordless drills? How could anyone build a civilization without them?

BTW - I have changed a few garbage disposalls in my life. they are no fun to do, but not that difficult.
