You have been blessed, to have survived not once, but twice a life threatening illness, and are living proof that God works miracles. You are also fortunate to have so many close friends. Friends really are the gift we give ourselves..Like you, I have some friends that I've had my whole life. None live close, but we still manage to keep in touch. One of my life long friends is going through an almost unbearable time in her life, but she is strong and is making remarkable recovery. I told her I would go with her any where, right now she wants to work and keep extra busy, so I'm waiting until she sends out the word to me, that she wants my help...more than I can give her over the telephone, that is.
