The Republicans lost the elections because they were ...err Republicans. The Dems had to do nothing because they were NOT Republicans. The country became disgusted with anything that had the aroma of the GOP. That is why they lost, pure and simple.

Actually the republicans lost the election because of corruption and because they had no plan for Iraq. Dems didn't really need to do anything except watch the republicans shoot themselves.

There's only one way to extract ourselves from the protracted mess that Bush created. I already told you how that should be done.
