I did some extensive reading on Obama yesterday to get a deeper sense of who he is and what he brings to the Presidency or the Vice Presidency. Because of his background he had a mixed religious education. Muslim and Christian. It was in Chicago that he joined a Christian church. Search these key words Born 1961 Queens Medical Center in Hawaii Punahou, one of the most prestigious schools in the nation to go to from K through 12. Going to Punahou sets the stage for accomplishments. University of Hawaii Harvard First Black Editor of Harvard Law Review Africa His family background is quite a story. His upbringing was not normal by standards of a mother and father both being present to raise him. He was primarily raised by his mother's parents------his white grandparents.
