I do not recognize any of the names of management (neither a + or -). Property is in Guinea/Conakrey. Not bad country risk. Been there once (walked across the border from Mali for a warm beer in candlelight - no electricity)other than airport stops. The general geology, (they are in the Birimian) is good. They have indicated 254,000 tons @ 2.5 g/t and inferred 579,000 tons @ 1.3 g/t. total 42,000 ozs. @ $600 = $25 million. small open pit heap leach?? Yes, maybe, but for a Kamloops B.C co. to mount a production effort in Guinea - not real easy. They had cash and cash equiv. of $8 mil as at July 31/06 so they have enuf to do a lot of work so that is good. Latest drill holes are not incl. in above figures, so the ounces will go up. The headlined results from Nov. 14 are indeed good,as you said, but these are not wildcat holes and if you look at all the holes reported, the average widths and grades are a lot lower. IMO sp moves on news and anticipation of news, takeover poss. and earnings. CYD is too small to interest anyone in takeover, earnings are a long ways off if at all, so news is the one. I think the structure as explored to date is too small to get people real excited. If they come up with something new or find out this is much larger, things can happen. And you asked for my opinion - I will not be a buyer at this time at these prices. I will try to keep an eye on it however.
