Yes, she is buried there..No...she did not serve in the military.. she grew up in a military family, married Air Corps and never remarried when he left right after WWII.

Her father and mother were buried at Arlington. Her sister's husband and sister are there. I know there are others but... they are earlier or extended family. Families like this are all in the grave site of the serving member so another serving military person will not go without because of them.

So my Mom is with her parents in the same grave site. My aunt is with my uncle. etc.

What an honor that really is for your friends son! His parents must really be proud of him....we would be, that's for sure!
