Romney is probably the best candidate the GOP has. The X factor has has is his looks, which are clean-cut strong and handsome. McCain and Guiliani are ugly. And no far rightwing candidate seems to have a shot. Jeb Bush might have been a factor if his brother hadn't blown it so badly. Romney's one liability is that he's a Mormon. My born again cousin hates Mormons and thinks they are the root of all evil. Who do the Dems have? A big pack of candidates, none of whom have a lock on anything. Anyone who says so and so's the frontrunner or so and so's finished, doesn't know what they're talking about. The race is wide-wide open. Much of it depends who actually runs. If everyone were to run, I'd say Gore has the best shot, but who knows what the voters will think?
