12/1/06 Update
A down week for the Nasdaq Biotech Index, which at Friday's close was up 3.48% YTD (vs. up 5.29% YTD at the 11/24/06 close). The median for the Charity Contest portfolios also fell for the week and is now up 2.10% YTD (vs. up 3.30% YTD at the 11/24/06 close). At Friday's close, 22 of the 40 Charity Portfolios were in the black YTD and 17 of the 40 portfolios were outperforming the NBI.
RKRW continued to widen his lead and at Friday's close his portfolio was up 58.2% YTD. I'm assuming the contest ends in just two weeks, at the close, Friday, December 15. So, it looks like RKRW's lead is now pretty insurmountable. However, we do have a race for the No.2 position. Although Wilder's portfolio remains in second place, finishing the week up 46.8% YTD, Cyran's portfolio is close behind, with a 44.0% YTD gain.
Enjoy the weekend everyone!
